Anyone have the setup? Searching to find any thoughts/videos of it. I'm looking for a little extra volume in my exhaust and have found a good deal on a set.

I like the sound of this one a lot

but I've seen posts that it can be quite raspy.

It will be raspy, but you can add resonators.

I did actually. My TSE3 with headers was too much. The ZHP exhaust is quite sporty so it has a great tone when opened up with headers.

How about volume? Good for a sporty DD?

Yep exactly right for DD.

Nah actually as long as you have both resonators in it's not totally horrible.

I've been catless on my last 2 cars and it was more noticeable on my 135i because I had less restrictive exhaust. Don't get me wrong you can smell it but it's faint and likely not noticeable even driving with windows down.

coming to a stop and the smell comes on around...starting up in a garage...etc

never smelled it at a stop but maybe in the garage if it was warming up for a min. I start the car and just go most often though.

Which headers did you have Udub?

My BMW still has normal manifolds and cats and it produces a slightly stinky exhaust for 30 or 40 seconds after cold start. On the other hand my old Saturn, which has first cat deleted, makes an awful smell for 1-2 minutes after cold start. If I just start it up and go, no smell in the car as I leave it behind! But if I start it up cold and wait, or or back up with the windows open or fan on, I definitely smell it. The ECU probably also runs the mix rich until the O2 sensor warms up. This is why regulators have been pushing newer cars to have the cats in the downpipe/manifold instead of under the car.

At the race track it's annoying to idle behind a car with no cats in the pits, but once you get moving the smell is faint or gone.

I had the Bimmerbrakes gen 3 headers and of course the custom Eurocharged tuning for them. ;)
