I have a few, rather large stains on my seats, but I can't find much comprehensive info on how to clean them out. I don't want to just 'try something' out of fear for ruining it.

How do you guys clean your interior?

Different car, same techniques!!

If it's just on the regular cloth I would try and find a shampoo "extractor" or just try the more aggressive methods. See some of Larry's other videos too for interior stuff, he's a master.

Thanks, Evan! Kinda worries me because where I can the stain, the fabric is softer. I think it's going to be there for a while...:shifty

Find a local carpet cleaning service or independent and see if they can help. I know they can its just if they will, I use a $3500 machine at my job and it is far superior to the ones you rent from home depot.

I use 'tough stuff' and a VERY fine/soft brush on my car. Then I wipe it down with a hot wet damp micro fiber followed by a dry one.

I used some dish washing soap, warm water, and a tight bristled brush. Scrub the heck out of the entire seat, then immediately suck all of the moisture and dirt out with a shop vac.

My seats came out nearly perfect.

I think I'll try this, just with laundry detergent. If that doesn't work, I'll try some of the products above.

My alcantara came clean and stayed clean -i've never tried to clean it.... scared of it LOL

For the cloth part of the seats, I use this:

Blue Coral DC22 Upholstery Cleaner - 22.8 oz. Aerosol (www.amazon.com/dp/B0009IR0PQ)

http://ecx.images-amazon.com/images/I/716rJ65gskL._SL400_.jpg

You can usually pick it up for $3 at Lowe's.

I'd go with the dish soap before laundry detergent, that may be too strong. Warm water or hot water does make a big difference.

Y'all should note that scrubbing the alcantara may not be a good idea. I believe the procedure is to LIGHTLY brush it in a clock- or anti-clickwise direction. You don't want to wear it out prematurely, do you? :)

This is the procedure on Coby's site.

Right. I vigorously scrubbed the cloth center sections of back and booty portions then lightly (very lightly) washed the bolster sections.
