Not sure if this is the same car that I was looking at w/ the DSC light on. At the time it had Z4 rims. It also had DE tags, so I assume it is. Now $11,400. I have more details if anyone is interested. I had him down to ~$10k or $9.5 and he cut comms.

Seems like a decent guy going through tough times. I give him points for his service to our country, but doesn't make up for deceptive lack of disclosure...

Meh. I've seen adjusters write anything as frame damage. If the accident was bad, it would have been salvaged.
Great for the price.

This is what the seller messaged me.....
First message:
"Hey thanks for the question. My wife bought the car in 2010 in jersey. I had no idea this car had any damages before I listed it on eBay and they provided the Auto check. With that bring said it was aparently sold in 2006 with 22k on the clock as a "unibody damage" - frame damage. But if you look at the timeline the car was registered less than a month later and miles were added so I don't think it was a serious hit at all... And it's not showing on the carfax only on auto check . It only shows 1 accident. Which shows with a parked car. However there is obvious paint work in the right side engine bay. The 3+ yrs I've owned the car the only issue I've had is the CCV valve which was replaced by BMW and under warranty. I also had them replace all 4 struts at the same time. I also had the brake fluid flushed a few weeks ago and an alignment and balancing and oil change. The TRIO ABS traction control and orange brake light is on. It doesn't affect the performance of the car."
Second message:
"No title issue, had no issues registering or titling the car. It is currently registered in delaware, that's where my X wife is from. Title is in Delaware and I'll get it once I sell the car. It's only 3 hrs drive from where I am in VA."
for anyone's information if they're interested in this car :thumbsup

Glad he was forthright on that.
Does this "The TRIO ABS traction control and orange brake light is on. It doesn't affect the performance of the car" = DSC? That's what he described to me. Also I'm not sure if Bill is pursuing this but it is on ebay at a very low price (reserve not met). Might be best check with him before getting into a bidding war. http://www.ebay.com/itm/BMW-3-Series-330i-ZHP-2004-bmw-330-i-sedan-zhp-/190999207098?forcerrptr=true&hash=item2c78709cba&item=190999207098&pt=US_Cars_Trucks

Thanks Shawn. I'm not pursuing. I was going to scoop it up soly for the interior and try to get my money back by sending it to auction with a beige interior. But I can't buy that thing with all those issues. I'd get stuck with it.

I'm not interested in getting any more cars at the moment. If I were though, it would obviously be a Competition package ///M :)
