Will a dashboard from a convertible fit a sedan?

Charlie seems to think it wouldn't. Evan brought up the part numbers, and noticed that part numbers were the same for all models (I know there are different colors, but as an example, a gray dash had the same part number no matter if the car was vert, coupe, or sedan). Called a local BMW dealer who said the same thing, but that lady did not sound like she knew what she was talking about at all.

Will it fit? Leo, a member here, has one locally for me about 30 minutes away, but I want to know it will fit before I go see it.

It would seem to me if p/n's were the same...

Grab a measuring tape and measure the length of the dash and make sure the mounting points are in the same location.

Or drive the 30 minutes and check it out lol.

All dashboards in every e46 have exactly the same dimensions.

Dario asked the question.

What I assume was, when he asked the question, he was unsure. Now that he's researched it, he now understands that all dashes, between models, are identical.

I appreciate the research and the fact that you're sharing it with us Dario.

:facepalm denied.
