this could really be a steal - swapped M54 engine to newer one, new clutch, new diff (doesn't say if 3.46), owned by a BMW tech. And it looks super clean.

Definitely. Mine has a similar mileage and I haven't had any issues with anything (apart from some overdue engine maintenance that I took care of). Don't let the mileage scare you!
