FS (SOLD) : E46 MagnaFlow Cat-Back Exhaust System

I have decided to sell my MagnaFlow exhaust system. Currently, it is still on the car. I do have a stock exhaust to switch back to so it won't be long until the MagnaFlow is off my car.

Exhaust (as far as I know) is in really good condition. The exhaust tips look awesome beside the ZHP diffuser.

The exhaust is pretty loud. With the loudness comes awesomeness....the exhaust isn't too loud on the interstate and is definitely daily drivable.

My price is $600 shipped, although I do prefer a local sale. I can travel within 100 mile radius of Knoxville to deliver.

I will be in Grayton Beach next month. I know that's pretty far for you, but just saying. Not sure how I'd fit it in my car anyways. I'll post pictures when/if I take it off..

It splits into 3 sections that will easily fit in the trunk. Just FYI. I'm selling mine as well and it's sitting in 3 sections in my garage

What are the chances you can take a video of it under load?? Rev videos are really arbitrary when it comes to exhaust sound... I'd go take a couple take-off and fly-by videos of it to get a true sound of the exhaust... Good luck with the sale!

If you guys heard Preston's or Chris's cars at the Reunion, both were Magnaflow catback exhaust systems. Chris had the stock air cleaner and Preston's had an AFE CAI, both sounded very nice.

So here's my old man assessment of the Magnaflow, it's personally not for me in a DD but fun to kick it in once in a while. The X-pipe crossover is right where the stock system's 2nd resonator is located. So gases are mixing at that point, creating back pressure which is good downstream of the engine, and there's a noticeable fight, I.e., a little bit of increased noise, but good noise. You can hear the grumble underneath you, not annoying but definitely evident. Get on it a little bit and there's a fight right under your seat, exhaust gases begging to get out, definitely sounds like power. But get above 3-4K rpm and everything smooths out, no drones, no excessive noise.

So please don't take that assessment in the wrong manner, coming in & out of our neighborhood in Preston's car I specifically target the 1500-3000 rpm range to see if I can draw the attention of our neighbors, its fun, and normally get a head turn or two.

Best I can compare to is an E36 M3 with a Borla, BB Tri-Flow, etc. - about the same 'loudness'. As Bruce said, you can definitely hear it. I've had my fair share of loud cars, and simply want to tone it down a bit.
