Good find.
Amazing how high the prices have gone.

That's about average pricing for the market lately. I'm sure it will go up and down a bit. Lately the pricing seems to be about 550 as compare to 500 a few months ago.

I think he needs a visit from the Mafia. Not a whack, but just a little...convincing. Might get a better deal.

The OEM BMW Performance Strut Bar is such a sexy mod. I've always wanted one. There's no strut bar that comes close in terms of looks.

Agreed, best looking by far, but to me, not worth anywhere near $600. Maybe $400. That being said, the OEM M3 bar should be in the $200-250 range, if you ask me...

Yeah, it was worth it for $280.
$600, not so much.

Depends on how bad you want one...I payed the $600 for a brand new - never used Performance strut bar for the ZHP and it was worth it to me...but then I had to have one....then I got another one for a better deal for the ///M :)

Remember, these were $1K brand new before the fire sale. I got mine for just under $300, but frankly it's whatever the market will bear, and someone will likely pay over $500 for it. I feel very lucky to get it at that price. It's tough for me to pay too much for things that aren't directly performance related or you don't really see, but damn those things are cool, so I don't know what I would have done at a higher price point.

Ugh, $600 is definitely too rich for my blood. I rarely pay MSRP on anything, I'm what you call a Macklemore shopper when it comes to BMW mods (especially aesthetic ones). Now, the real question is: Those that got it at $300, would you sell it to me for $350? :begging
I see this as one of the mods I will always desire, but never will have. It's good to not have it all... Keep the mystic of it alive.

Honestly, it feels like one if those mods that is mostly sought after for rarity. I mean, is it really that much better than other bars? If you want to buy it, go for it. Sexy as hell, but I don't think I could stomach that money just for looks.

Hahaha, can't say I blame him. It's so much easier to become a member on e46f than on here... LOL. Even if there's a higher proportion of douches, they are still potential customers.

Why!?!?! When?!?!? :(
I sold it locally to one of the bmw guys here. The bar hinders my ability to adjust my dampening on my coilovers and I just got mad at it and said I'll get an M3 bar again and call it a day. I personally believe the M3 bar is worth $150 at most, and +80 cash on top for the BMW bar felt like a good price for a local guy who was a friend of a friend.

I am glad to see that my bar is worth 600 now. I bought it back then on ebay for 280, I was pretty lucky.

Guys - after my last attempt to sell both a ZHP and parts on this forum caused a tizzy, I have made the decision to refrain selling anything here. I'm still very active here, just not in the classifieds section.
Believe me, I would love to keep the parts in the family, but I don't want to get shit for doing it. I sincerely hope my position can be respected.

Well that's not cool, try again. Dane or Keith will control the BS Fo Sho.
That brace is a thing of beauty. Good Luck.

Haha - I don't expect it to. But I don't care what happens there.
On the other hand, I do value my membership here very much so and don't want any troubles here. This is by the far the best BMW enthusiast community!

More than I wanted to pay, less than he wanted to sell it for. Just how God intended it.
Cruising down the road to Blingtown. Now, about those custom carbon drug bin covers........

Jeff, you have to stop buying all the sicknasty upgrades that I want. You're making me insanely jealous.
Your car is quickly becoming the coupe version of what I wanted/still want my sedan to look like. Good work!

Can't lie. I'm pretty jazzed about this one. If you're going to get a strut brace, "work of art" isn't a bad way to go.

Congrats on the pickup.
It is definitely a beautiful addition to the engine bay.
